Although you may not be Tiger Woods winning golf championships like he was in 2000, you still love to play mini golf with the same passion and passion as the pros!

Miniature golf is a smaller, more playful version of the big game that brings a special joy to the lives of its players that you can’t get on a big 18-hole course that takes up all day.

We’ve got swoon-worthy miniature golf courses in the United States that you should bookmark on your travels from Florida to California! Playful competition is welcome in all of our offerings below.

Mini golf course in Florida

We have to start with the mecca of themed entertainment in the United States: Orlando. There are many golf courses here, but the location of the top three will not surprise you. Two at Disney World and one at Universal.

1. Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk Orlando

If you park in the Universal Orlando parking garage, you have to walk past CityWalk to get to the parks. You drive over a wonderful miniature golf course called Hollywood Drive-In. Its colorful creatures and fun icons are part of the fun of playing golf.

There are two courses to enjoy. You can play just one game for 18 holes of fun, or play all 36 holes for a longer miniature golf experience.

Both fields at Universal are lit, so you can play day or night. Play both times to experience different atmospheres during sunlight and darkness! If you park in the Universal garage, you will have to pay a parking fee and a miniature golf fee.

Invaders from the Planet of Put at Universal

The theme of this course reminds us of the Men in Black attraction at Universal Studios, which is just steps away from the miniature golf course. Imagine aliens invading Earth, turning things like farm animals into possessed creatures, and that’s what you’ll experience in Invaders from Planet Putt.

The Haunting of Ghostly Greens at Universal

Ghosts and ghouls are the topics of this course. Expect all things (relatively) creepy, including wire trees, skeletons, and houses that look {somewhat} haunted.

2. Winter Summerland Mini Golf at Walt Disney World

Imagine a tropical world in Florida where snow has covered the ground! That’s what the Winter Summerland Mini Golf Course is all about.

Although the snow is fake (otherwise it would melt quickly in the Florida heat), the theme is funny and you’ll giggle as you see some familiar holiday icons dressed in winter clothes and decorations throughout the course, but with a tropical twist.

3. Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf at Walt Disney World

There are two Fantasia Miniature Golf courses just steps away The Swan Reserve Hotel at Walt Disney Worldnear Disney’s BoardWalk.

One is the par-3 and par-5 course, which is harder than the easier, more kid-friendly Fantasia Gardens course. If you want sand traps, hills and a little challenge, choose Fantasia Fairways. If you want fun fantasy characters, take the Fantasy Gardens course.

Both courses are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., so you can enjoy them during the day or after hours at the theme parks. (Don’t forget pack sunscreen for your trip to Walt Disney World if you play during daylight hours. The Florida sun is bright no matter what month you visit.)

4. Advantage near Universal Orlando

This glow-in-the-dark miniature golf is located on International Drive, right next to Universal. You don’t have to wear sunscreen to play on the neon field indoors where you’re protected from the elements.

It is a beautifully landscaped field with tropical plants and water features. In addition, each hole on the course has a name associated with a native South Florida plant or animal.

They are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, and an additional hour on Saturdays and Sundays, closing at 5:00 pm. The best part about the miniature golf that is part of the museum is that the miniature golf is included when you purchase museum admission.
