“We are creating an enabling environment for learning in all schools under the Mana Badi: Nadu-Nedu program. It is time to ensure adequate learning outcomes for children through effective classroom operations,” the school education commissioner said.

Suresh Kumar, who as a district collector at Medak and Guntura has contributed to raising standards in public schools, is now seeking to take the process to the next level across the state.

He addressed school principals, as well as heads of education and the regional level, as part of the reform agenda, starting with an innovative and flexible lesson plan for each class and subject.

“Any reform in school education can only be successfully implemented at the field level by teachers, as they are direct facilitators who interact with children and impart knowledge to them,” said Surash Kumar.

Accordingly, each teacher was asked to prepare innovative and flexible lesson plans in their subjects that meet student standards and best practices. Updated information on each subject separately, current affairs will also be part of the lesson plan.

“Not only scholars, the focus will be on collaborative and extracurricular activities to make teaching and learning holistic. Another key aspect that will address individual differences between students to help them deepen their knowledge will be remedial learning,” the commissioner said. .

SCERT, which is the Academic Body of School Education under the RTE Act, will develop an academic monitoring mechanism and issue recommendations and support to all field officials. According to Suresh Kumar, he will monitor learning outcomes and assess student standards.
