Leeds College of Engineering is celebrating after being named in RateMyApprenticeship’s Top 50 Apprenticeships for 2022-2023.
The awards, announced at RateMyApprenticeship’s Top Employers and Apprenticeship Providers virtual event, recognize organizations that are leading the way in offering world-class apprenticeships to UK school and college leavers.
The ranking is based on thousands of honest and authentic apprenticeship reviews on a national website RateMyApprenticeship.co.uk. The RateMyApprenticeship Awards recognize learners, schools, employers and training institutions for their efforts in the apprenticeship market.
Leeds College of Engineering has been named the highest ranked further education college in the north of England and the only college in West Yorkshire to be in the top 50 institutions (17thousand place).
College partners BAM, Mott MacDonald, ARUP, EQUANS and Balfour Beatty were named in the top 100 employers.
Rob Smith, Learning Contracts Manager at Leeds College of Engineering, said:
“We are delighted to have been recognized as the best further education college in the country for providing exceptional apprenticeship training. All the more so because the students vote for him. Thank you to all our staff and assessors for their dedication to our students’ experience and for working so diligently with employers, especially after the challenges faced since the pandemic.”
