To help families prepare their children for the start of the school year, D.C. Public Schools has released a new guide.
The directory provides information, activities and resources for the district’s youngest students and their families.
Some of the information included in the toolkit:
- Answers to five main questions of parents
- Snapshot of the daily schedule
- Recommended books to deal with school nerves and excitement
DCPS will also host virtual workshops for families in August to prepare families for the first day of nature training on September 1st.
- Tuesday, August 2, at 5:30 p.m
- Thursday, August 4, at 5:30 p.m
Toolkit is available online in English and Spanish versions.
