Focus on marijuana

I think a lot of people would like to focus on marijuana. As legalization (or decriminalization) appears to be the trend, an updated book may be needed. There is also an allegation of marijuana as a gateway drug. from what i can tell this is still debated by the scientific community. There is also no acknowledgment of what is happening research on the benefits of marijuana, such as chronic pain, anxiety and epilepsy.
I really don’t have an opinion on the benefits as my experience is limited to the 1981 joint. I was more worried about eating food and killing any ambition to keep my ass from expanding any further.
Books like this bother me somehow. They have more of an agenda than real information. I have had many teenagers and teenage children who had to do a “drug report”. More than once, teenagers have asked me why marijuana is “worse” and illegal than alcohol. I have to say my favorite questions are the ones where teenagers call bs and ask me to help them get better resources to justify it.
