Franciscan University of Steubenville is accused of editing a student from a graduation video, WTRF News reported.
Alumna Samantha Moto said, “It’s hard not to take it personally.” She was dressed in an LGBTQ flag with her regalia. The motto said her name was also not on the video.
The university did not admit to editing Motto from the video, but made the following statement: “We are excited to include in it any student who adheres to our policies. However, the University reserves the right to edit any video we create, and those who choose to violate our policies and use introductory exercises as a forum to express their personal or political views lose the privilege of being reflected in university videos. ”
