This is the publication day for Summer of castles Rachel Walkley today and just a quick post to congratulate the author! I can’t fit this book into my reading schedule, even though it sounds great, but I wanted to share what the book is about in celebration of its release.
Summer of castles. A mystery in the ruins.
At the beginning of the sultry English summer of 2003, Robin Yates leaves work to photograph fifteen castles for a man she has never met. A man who won’t tell her his real name.
She is driven by an unusual ability that she can neither explain nor understand. But someone does and seeks to use her secret.
But Robin is not alone in her journey. The artist draws the same castles. Where she goes, he goes like a stalker. But is he dangerous? And could this man be the same person who wants her photos?
She decides to challenge him, not expecting that the confrontation will change the course of both of their lives.
The sweltering summer is finally over, but will Robin learn the truth in time?
