How far can the atom go, forcing you to study the basic elements of science? Pretty far if it’s from the smart textbook provider HashLearn.
Students who appear for various entrance exams for admission to engineering courses now have the opportunity to take advantage of an online textbook taught by faculty from the best institutes such as IITs, BITS and AIIMS.
HashLearn, an educational technology startup from Bangalore, has launched a new service called “Atom”. This app helps students learn concepts around their home without having to travel to training centers. Services cost £ 30 for a twenty-minute session. The student can log in at any time, as textbooks are available 24/7.
They can use the app for textbooks in physics, chemistry, math and biology for entrance tests such as JEE Mains, CET and NEET. Not only that, they can also use it to facilitate school exam training.
According to Jayadev Gopolakrishnan, co-founder of HashLearn, it can be purchased in different “packages” depending on the number of sessions the student wants to sign up for. The student can also pay for the service through their mobile operators, which allows the mobile service provider to deduct the amount from the prepaid balance or add it to the postpay account.
“In India, only 20 percent of the tutoring market is organized. The vast majority cannot access quality tutoring due to tuition costs or on-site constraints. Even for students from urban markets, they face such problems as lack of personal attention and lack of real help, ”Gopolakrishnan added.
The HashLearn app for Android can be downloaded from the Google Play store or by sending an SMS “GETNOW” to the number 56263
