Madison Metropolitan School District Selects Open Resources and Kiddom to Deliver K-5 English Language Blended Program

Madison, Wisconsin – Today, Open resources and Kiddom announced Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) chose his highest rating EL education K-5 Education Language Arts (ELA) curriculum for 31 elementary schools in support of the district’s efforts to prioritize early literacy and beyond. Open Up Resources, a non-profit organization, works to advance equity in education by making the highest quality curriculum available to educators, and Kiddom is the first universal educational platform for high-quality digital curriculum.

MMSD’s investment will empower teachers to use the ELA curriculum to:

● Share assignments digitally;

● Connect with students and deliver personalized feedback on materials;

● Give priority to reading skills and content knowledge in natural sciences and social sciences;

● Take advantage of EL Education’s comprehensive multi-year professional learning plan to support teachers; and

● Access to peer-to-peer communications within the Open Up K-5 EL Education digital community.
