Rachel Morgan-turned-demon-witch must save the demonic realm of Ever After in the eleventh entry in the New York Times bestseller The Hollow from master of supernatural adventure Kim Harrison.

When Rachel sets off a chain of events that could lead to the end of the world—demonic and human—she must use her gifts to save those closest to her while preventing the apocalypse.

A satisfying and sexy visit to Lagchyna will take readers on a wild journey that will capture their imagination. Fans of Charlaine Harris and Stephenie Meyer won’t be able to resist Kim Harrison’s alternate universe—an urban Cincinnati fantasy with vampires, witches, and other magical creatures—where thrilling adventure and fast-paced action are the norm.

It was wonderful! I seem to like this book more and more with each book I read. I’ve come to really appreciate Rachel, Jenks, Ivy, and the rest of the gang, and I love seeing them work together to get out of pretty impossible situations. This book started off with a bang and I was enthralled by the end. I’m so glad I decided to pick up this series this year.

When Rachel visits Trent, Quen, Ceri and the babies, Ceri and one of the children are taken away and Quen is left injured. That should be enough for Rachel to worry about, but she also needs to fix the ley lines, and in short order. Rachel knows Ku’Sox is responsible, but can’t prove it to anyone. One obstacle after another seems to be thrown at her as she tries to save the day. This was a really exciting part of the series with plenty of surprises to keep me guessing.

Marguerite Gavin does a great job with this series. I love all the voices she uses for key characters and I think her range is amazing. I think she adds just the right amount of emotion and excitement to her reading. I wanted to listen to this book for hours on end. I think her narration added to my enjoyment of the story.

I would definitely recommend this series to others. This is the eleventh book in the series, so I wouldn’t jump in here, but it’s definitely a series worth checking out. I’ve enjoyed watching the characters develop throughout the series and can’t wait to see what happens next.
