Sixth grader Willie Wonka is proud of the Campfire Crunch chocolate bar

Sixth-graders at Butler High School recently experienced what it was like to be Willie Wonka as part of a candy-making competition to liven up Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” reading in class.

And while assembling at the school in Cottonwood Heights on Tuesday, they had the opportunity to try the winning confectionery product – a Campfire Crunch chocolate bar, created by sixth-grader Isaac Aysan.

Representatives of the Aga Chocolate Factory at Utah State University, which made chocolates during a tour of the factory with Aysan and five other Golden Ticket winners, brought samples of chocolate bars to share with the entire sixth grade of the school. They also shared a short video about the tour of the factory and the process of making chocolate and honored other owners of the “golden ticket”.
