St. Modwen is looking for future superstars with the new Early Careers program – FE News


St. Modwen, one of the UK’s leading builders and logistics developers, has launched its Early Careers program to inspire school leavers and alumni to discover future careers in real estate.

There are currently 20 vacancies available in homes and logistics, covering marketing, survey volumes, architecture and site management.

As part of the commitment to St. Modwen to act responsibly and make a sustainable, positive impact on society and the environment, the developer, in partnership with the award-winning recruitment company Wiser, incorporates its core values ​​into its hiring process and program.

During the Assessment Centers, which will take place in July this year, applicants will participate in group and individual tasks, which are one of the values ​​of the company “Responsible Business”. This will range from diversity and inclusion and well-being to efforts to clean carbon reduction and biodiversity.

Once the programs begin in September this year, successful students will begin a two-year personal and professional development. It will begin with an exciting orientation course to set them up for success in the company and help those new to the world of work to understand their roles, responsibilities and way of working life.

Their experience in the program will expand their knowledge in several key areas, including emotional intelligence, effective communication and leadership thinking, and will revitalize learning through exciting business and industry-related sessions, group learning activities and visits. This will include volunteer sessions aimed at sustainability and well-being, as well as a housing workshop.

The program will be aligned with the responsible business plan of St. Modwen to give students an understanding of why this is a key part of everyone’s role in the company, and to ensure their participation from the start of their journey to St. Modwen.
