The Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group will honor 16 teenagers in the region who responded to the pandemic with courage, creativity and innovation at their 11th annual Dreammakers and Risktakers Awards on Thursday, May 5th.
Among the honored:
Dublin High School student Ankita Hatri, who made it her mission to share the science and chemistry behind drug addiction and prescription abuse, with her classmates during the pandemic.

Dorothy Katsipon, Cadence Johnson, Kaylee Natch, Calvin Schauler, Naomi Zika, Livermore and Granada High School students who turned their pandemic experience into an original stage musical.
Evelyn Arroyo, chair of the Livermore District Youth Advisory Commission, which organized the registration of teenage voters in 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Gavin Jean, a student at Monte Vista High School who raised more than $ 7,000 and recruited more than 50 volunteers to help build Livermore Village of Good, a tiny home community for the chronically homeless.
