These are always such helpful links Elizabeth! I learn every time I’m here. And this time I saw a message about the importance of word count. I’m always so torn about this too. I know some people swear by word counts as a way to track their writing progress. And of course, many publishers have word count parameters. But at the same time, I’ve read articles that suggest that word count can also limit an author. It’s hard to know how to make the best use of your word count, but it’s definitely something we need to keep in mind!
