Western Kentucky University’s board of trustees voted Friday not to fire Jeanine Haas, a tenured professor of teacher education. President Timothy Kaboni recommended that she be fired.

A university spokesman said via email: “After hearing the evidence from both sides, the board voted not to fire the professor for cause. In accordance with WKU’s normal practice, the university will not comment further on the details of this employment promotion at this time.”
